MALLARD CREEK MANUFACTURING is looking for a Master Industrial Electrician for our industrial manufacturing plant in Placer County.
Responsibilites
- Troubleshoot and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve reliability of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and controls systems.
- Diagnose and resolve causes of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues. Put in place permanent solutions to problems.
- Program and troubleshoot robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot, make changes/modifications, and install upgrades to current PLC programs.
Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electromechanical systems, troubleshooting automated machinery, integration of equipment and robotics, as well as deployment, optimization and sustaining of automated equipment for our automated manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will have knowledge in the maintenance and sustaining operation of sophisticated manufacturing equipment including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing various components and systems, including power, distribution, regulation, instrumentation, AC and DC motors and control circuits, robotics, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), hydraulic and mechanical systems, HMI’s, and other electrical and pneumatic systems.
Skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 50lbs; must have the ability to perform essential functions of the job, which could include standing bending, stooping and climbing.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug screen.
- Ability to work off shift as needed.
- Understanding that this position is ongoing year-round in all weather conditions.
- Fluent in English, Spanish a plus. Good verbal; communication with all levels of the organization a must.
Qualifications
- Electrical, PLCs, low voltage through 480 volt/3 phase, motor starters, proximity switches, photo eyes, machine interface (MI), control logic, low e DC control power systems. Ability to understand mechanical system operations to provide PLC control of operations and safety circuits.
- Familiar with automated manufacturing equipment (PLCs, VFDs, HMls, conveyors, safety, circuits, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Preferably 5+ years of experience working with automated manufacturing equipment within a high-volume environment.
- PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000.
- Ability to work off shift as needed.
