Description
Mallard Creek Manufacturing seeks Lead Machine Operator with equipment maintenance experience to meet production goals, direct other operators, troubleshoot production equipment, and perform repairs to fix equipment problems.
Responsibilites
- Operate bag filling equipment in a safe manner and meet production quotas
- Weigh product and modify process parameters based on product weight and volume
- Direct other machine operators
- Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean & organized work area at all times
- Operate machinery safely, following safety procedures
- Various other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
- Familiarity with computers and basic software (i.e. MS Word, Excel)
- Experience with bagging and wrapping equipment
- Forklift experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Read, speak, and understand the English language
- Familiarity with production safety
- Familiarity with production and warehouse operations
- Problem-solving experience and skills
- Good mechanical skills
- Experience operating and maintaining automated production equipment
- Basic electronics knowledge
- Must be extremely dependable and reliable

- Must be able to work in a dusty environment (PPE provided)
