I really like the Comfort Blend with the rice hulls. We have an older mare that is very comfortable on the shavings as she has a soft spot to rest that is “springy” and giving. No matter how many of the local shavings I’d put in, they would separate down to the floor mats and she’d wind up standing on a firm surface.
